Lake Tahoe
Yes, everybody can rent a ski run boat with 190 H.P. and more... without any license.

Every American here in California says Lake Tahoe is one of the "must-sees".
I have to agree. Lake Tahoe is beautiful. It's a huge and deep lake (1,645 ft = ca. 500m!) with crystal clear water.
Jan, Dominik and me had a great weekend driving AROUND and ON the lake.
For the first day, we decided to start our weekend slowly with just driving around the lake.
The beaches are little bit crowded, nevertheless but we enjoy swimming. The temperature is cold, but not too cold.
By chance, we see "North America's Premier Wooden Boat Show".

On our second and last day, we rented a ski run boat with some horsepower to tow ourselves and try some waterskiing. That's why America is still America: Everybody can - no matter if he/she has any experience with driving a really powerful motor boat - rent a boat with 190 H.P. or more.
Driving the boat and waterskiing was super fun. Dominik, who had already done waterskiing before looked a little more elegant than Jan and me did... . However in the end, we all managed to do it and although the weather was not the best it was really fun.
